greetings...i'm abe wong. welcome to my web site version 8, hosted on my company's server...a first, as all
previous incarnations were hosted on prodigy servers, dating to the original way back in 1995 on prodigy
classic. after a huge number of years, we've finally cancelled our prodigy account in favor of a dsl
connection at home.
so to prodigy, it is with a bit of nostalgia that i bid you a fair adieu. i've had a lot of good times
on your servers. in the words of james kirk, it's been fun.
to those of you who came to one of my other pages searching for something that i no longer have on here,
my apologies, but it sucks for you.
i'm continuing my previous warning that i'm not planning on updating this site particularly often, namely
because i'm rather busy with things ranging from work to school, and besides, i make web pages for money.
working on my own page is sadly the last thing i want to do in my ever-copious free time, barring bouts
of masochism such as that which made this new version.
as a matter of browsers and systems, basically anything that supports tables should do, but i recommend
something with at least a 1024x768 resolution with 16-bit color. even an imac can support this, so i don't
think it's too much to ask.
admittedly i'm sorry to the bandwidth-impaired. i've been a long time modem user and i totally understand
you don't wanna wait for this. but hey, it looks nice, and navigation isn't dependent on the images.
